Just a few updates from the past few days:

Friday: Dustin's last day at Tower. They layed him off two weeks early, which ended up being a blessing in disguise. Friday afternoon (after a very happy last day at work), D received a job offer from American Trim in Ohio. The offer was better than expected and we were very excited about that.
Friday afternoon we took off for West Branch to drop off Oakley at his grandma and grandpa's.
Saturday: Headed down to Lima, Ohio. We had a couple of houses to look at. Possible places to rent. Neither of them ended up being worth the trip, but we did get a feel for the area, and know where we want to look now.
Sunday: Left Lima, stopped at Cabela's and then in Ann Arbor to have lunch with Eric and Nicole. Then headed to W.B. for the night.
Monday: Came home to T.C. It feels great to be "home" again. 12 hours on the road in the past couples days makes for a long weekend!

Dustin will be starting his new job at American Trim on February 23rd! They moved the date up for him because of his layoff...which works great for everyone! They will be putting him up in a hotel until we can find a place to live.
I plan to stay here in TC for at least a couple more weeks.
American Trim will be paying for a moving company for us! We are both excited for that! That means I won't have to pack a single box!!!! WooHoo!!!! Gotta love that! It makes things so much easier!

Thank you all so much for your prayers! This job is a huge answer to prayer, and such a blessing. It came at the perfect time, and is more than we could have asked for. Dustin is excited about his new position with the company as well, and is anxious to start working with them (after a week break of course!).
I really appreciate all of your thoughts, prayers and comments....thank you so much!

  5. So happy to hear the offer was great...and how just like our God to allow all of those time frames to work out!!!! And, how awesome for no packing! That is AWESOME!

OK...so I was wrong, Lima is NOT near the town I had mentioned to Sep. It was Kettering, OH that Sep was working in.

Praying your new home comes apparent soon!
